Kayo & Kuma: a social-first experiment
Kayo & Kuma was developed as a deliberate experiment in starting with social media. The duo grew to more than 170,000 Danish followers, and Legender went gold.
The project also exposed the limits of the model: a large social-media following didn't automatically translate into an equally strong and loyal audience for the music.
Svea S: a return to traditional artist development
With Svea S, Jules returned to a more traditional approach to artist development and executive production. The project began within Nexus and developed towards a deal with Universal.
Hey Far was certified gold. The project showed that a longer and more closely managed development process still had value in an industry driven by very fast-moving platform signals.
Asger: a new project grows out of an old one
Asger had previously been part of Kayo & Kuma. In his new project, the direction became clearer, with a more defined pop-country identity.
Jules is once again closely involved in songwriting and production. He is credited as producer, programmer and songwriter on Mandag Til Fredag. The work continues on the newer 2026 songs Du gør mig høj and Hvor er vi på vej hen?
Same foundations, new rules
Kayo & Kuma, Svea S and Asger represent three different development models. One starts with the platform, another with a more traditional artist-building process, and a third grows out of lessons from an earlier project.
Technology has changed the pace. Songs, sound and identity remain at the heart of the work.
